QAHE Cited in IJLRHSS Literature Review on Quality Assurance of Joint Degree Programs
The International Association for Quality Assurance in Pre‑Tertiary and Higher Education (QAHE) is pleased to announce that our guidance on internal and external quality assurance has been cited in the International Journal of Latest Research in Humanities and Social Science (IJLRHSS). The article, “Quality Assurance of Joint Degree Programs: A Literature Review” (Volume 07, Issue 05, 2024), references QAHE’s work when discussing external quality assurance procedures and the role of accreditation agencies in validating joint and transnational programmes. The IJLRHSS literature review examines concepts, historical development, and both internal and external quality assurance mechanisms for international joint degree programmes. In particular, the review highlights the importance of external peer review, documentation, compliance with agreed standards, and the contribution of recognised accreditation bodies in promoting transparency and trust in collaborative awards. QAHE’s overview of external inspection and accreditation is cited alongside other international resources that inform good practice in the external review of joint programmes.
