The history of education at Kyrgyz National Agrarian University dates back to the 1930s when the transformation of Kyrgyzstan was underway. Under the leadership of Academician Rysbek Nurgaziev, the university has achieved significant milestones in academic excellence and scientific research. In recognition of its contributions, the Agrarian University was awarded the prestigious title of “National” in 2009. Academician Nurgaziev, the rector of the university since 2010, has been appointed as an academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic, further enhancing the university’s academic standing.
