QAHE Appoints Dr. Marilee Bresciani Ludvik as Honorary QA Auditor
The International Association for Quality Assurance in Pre-Tertiary and Higher Education (QAHE) is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Marilee Bresciani Ludvik as an Honorary QA Auditor. Dr. Ludvik brings a wealth of experience and expertise in academic effectiveness and institutional quality assurance, making her a valuable addition to our team.
Currently, Dr. Ludvik serves as the Director of Academic Effectiveness and WSCUC Accreditation Liaison Officer at the University of San Diego, as well as a Professor of Practice. Her impressive background includes previous roles as Associate Provost of Institutional Effectiveness at Loyola University Chicago and Clinical Professor in the School of Education. She also held the position of Chair and Tenured Professor of the Educational Leadership and Policy Studies department at the University of Texas Arlington.
Dr. Ludvik’s research is groundbreaking, focusing on the application of social and emotional neuroscience to reduce stress and anxiety while enhancing cognitive flexibility and compassion. Her innovative work informs both in-class and out-of-class learning experiences, aiming to close equity gaps and improve career readiness for students.
An accomplished author, Dr. Ludvik has written 12 books and published over 200 scholarly articles, significantly contributing to the field of education. Her dedication and impact have been recognized through numerous prestigious awards, including the International Association for Student Personnel Pillar of the Profession Award and the George Kuh Award for Outstanding Contribution to Literature/Research in Higher Education.
