QAHE Announces Strategic Partnership with Solanki Brothers Council for Open and Distance Learning (SBCODL)

The International Association for Quality Assurance in Pre-Tertiary and Higher Education (QAHE) is excited to announce a new Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Solanki Brothers Council for Open and Distance Learning (SBCODL). This partnership aims to foster mutual recognition of each other’s quality assurance frameworks while promoting relevant quality assurance activities across the educational landscape.

Importantly, this MOU does not imply accreditation or endorsement of programs from either organization. Instead, it establishes a collaborative framework that aligns with the values and operational philosophy of SBCODL, focusing on enhancing educational quality and integrity.

The MOU outlines several key areas of cooperation that will significantly benefit both organizations and the broader education sector. These include joint institutional accreditation and quality assurance reviews, which will bring together QAHE and SBCODL to enhance accreditation processes and establish robust quality assurance standards. Additionally, the partnership will facilitate the peer exchange of evaluators and best practices, allowing both organizations to share valuable insights and experiences in quality assurance.

Another vital aspect of the collaboration is the development of evaluator and reviewer training and certification programs. This initiative aims to equip evaluators and reviewers with essential skills, ensuring high standards in the accreditation process. Furthermore, both organizations will engage in collaborative research and publications on global quality assurance models, enabling them to explore and disseminate effective practices in the field.

Joint workshops, seminars, and international education forums will also be organized as part of this partnership, providing platforms for discussions on quality assurance and educational excellence. Mutual recognition of institutional quality frameworks and labels will enhance credibility and foster trust between the two organizations, further strengthening their impact in the educational sector.
