QAHE and Kennedy University Confer Honorary Professor of Practice in Applied Linguistics on Johnrey Limpag Piad
The International Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (QAHE), in collaboration with Kennedy University (KU), is pleased to announce the conferment of the Honorary Professor of Practice (HPoP) in Applied Linguistics on Johnrey Limpag Piad. This honorary recognition celebrates his distinguished contribution to English language teaching, academic instruction, and educational excellence across multiple learning contexts.
Johnrey Limpag Piad is an accomplished educator with extensive experience in English language teaching, business English, academic English, and teacher training. His career spans various teaching roles in universities, schools, and language institutions in Vietnam and the Philippines, where he has taught learners of different ages and proficiency levels with professionalism, creativity, and dedication. He is also skilled in teaching Music, Arts, Physical Education, and Health, reflecting a broad and versatile educational background.
He holds multiple advanced qualifications, including a Doctor of Philosophy in English Language Teaching, a Professional Doctorate in Teaching and Learning, a Master of Arts in Education with TESOL, a Master of Business Administration, and a Bachelor of Secondary Education majoring in Physical Education, Health, and Music. He also holds a Licensed Professional Teacher credential and a TESOL IV certification, and has completed further professional learning through internationally recognised platforms and institutions.
In addition to his teaching and academic qualifications, Mr. Piad has received several honours, including the Asian Education Award 2024 for Excellence in Teaching and Lecturer of the Year in Bangkok, Thailand. His research publications, language proficiency, and commitment to student engagement further reflect his dedication to advancing educational practice and contributing to the field of Applied Linguistics.
