American Management University (AMU) Utah Campus
American Management University (AMU) is a nonprofit, international higher education institution committed to providing flexible, affordable, and globally accessible education. Founded in 2017 in West Covina, California, AMU initially operated as a proprietary, private institution serving students in the US and Vietnam before expanding internationally. In 2024, AMU officially moved its headquarters to Paris, France, where it became a registered nonprofit university under French jurisdiction. The institution still maintains active regional offices in Southern California to serve students in the United States.
AMU offers a range of programs at the undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral levels, specializing in business, leadership, education administration, and sports management. The university supports both coursework-based and validation-based pathways, catering to working professionals and learners with prior academic or experiential qualifications.
Guided by its mission to create ethical and globally competent leaders, AMU operates with core values of integrity, inclusivity, innovation, and impact. It holds international quality assurance accreditations, including with QAHE, IARC, ACCREDITAT, and MACCA; while holding memberships with agencies such as ATHEA, ECBE, CONIES, and IABP. AMU partners with global organizations to support academic excellence, community engagement, and professional development.
