Working overseas he has dedicated his career to monitoring the health, well-being and medical needs of personnel across various settings. In a recent role as a specialist medic and team leader he was responsible for maintaining health records and conducting health & risk assessments for chronic conditions affecting displaced persons. He managed the daily healthcare needs of migrants including children, and coordinated medical evacuations while liaising with foreign health agencies. His leadership in weekly medical training for first responders further underscores his dedication to improving health outcomes in humanitarian contexts.
John previously served as a health advisor/practitioner for an International drilling company where he lead health promotion initiatives and engaged with the workforce in healthy living practices.
