QAHE has signed an MOU with MACCA and received a Certificate of Recognition from the Agency. The Mercosul Accreditation Agency (MACCA) is a distinguished organization dedicated to ensuring academic excellence and quality assurance in higher education across the Mercosul region. Recognized for its commitment to rigorous accreditation processes, MACCA collaborates with esteemed bodies such as the Brazilian Distance Education Association (ABED), which is linked to Brazil’s Ministry of Education and recognized by the International Council for Open and Distance Education (ICDE). Besides, MACCA also collaborates with the Comité de Accreditation de la Licenciatura en Biology (CACEB), which is a specialized accreditation body in Mexico focused on quality assurance and evaluation of undergraduate programs in biology. CACEB is listed in the CHEA (Council for Higher Education Accreditation) International Directory of the USA, reinforcing its global presence and recognition.
