Accreditation Status Update – Islamic Azad University, UAE Branch Accreditation Expired

The International Association for Quality Assurance in Pre-Tertiary and Higher Education (QAHE) wishes to officially clarify the accreditation status of the Islamic Azad University (IAU), UAE Branch. It has come to our attention that IAU continues to state on their website that they are currently accredited by QAHE.

We would like to inform the public that the accreditation granted to Islamic Azad University, UAE Branch has expired. While QAHE typically does not announce such changes in accreditation status, the continued misrepresentation of their accreditation status necessitates this clarification.

QAHE is committed to maintaining transparency and integrity in the accreditation process, and we encourage all institutions to provide accurate information regarding their accreditation status. Institutions seeking to maintain their accreditation must adhere to the established standards and renewal processes defined by QAHE.

We appreciate your understanding and encourage any inquiries regarding accreditation to be directed to QAHE through our official channels.

We strongly advise students and institutions to always verify accreditation status at QAHE’s List of Accredited Institutions.
