Dr. Latha A/P Haridass is an accomplished educator and higher education leader with over 20 years of experience in the field of tertiary education. Currently serving as a Senior Lecturer and Teaching and Learning Coordinator at Peninsula College Georgetown, Malaysia, Dr. Haridass has made significant contributions to education development, academic program design, and institutional accreditation. Her expertise in integrating artificial intelligence into teaching and learning practices positions her as a forward-thinking leader in the educational sector.
Dr. Haridass holds a Ph.D. in Education Development from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, where her research focused on enhancing employability through the cultivation of generic student attributes. She also possesses a Master’s degree in Education and Development, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Education Management (IT). Her academic achievements are complemented by various certifications, including those in technology integration and employability skills training.
Throughout her career, Dr. Haridass has been instrumental in achieving notable milestones, such as leading Peninsula College Georgetown to receive the 4-Star ESG Pioneer Award and achieving over 90% graduate employability rates. She has also played a key role in securing ISO 9001:2015 certification for Cosmopoint College Johor Bahru, demonstrating her commitment to maintaining high educational standards.
In addition to her administrative and academic responsibilities, Dr. Haridass is actively involved in research and publication, contributing to various educational journals and symposiums.
