Trinidad and Tobago Phlebotomy Training Services (TTPTS)
Overview
Trinidad and Tobago Phlebotomy Training Services (TTPTS) was established in November 2011 by Mr. Everest Noel and Mr. Al Davis. The institution is dedicated to providing high-quality training for clinical professionals and individuals interested in pursuing careers in phlebotomy. Managed by a Board of Directors, TTPTS strives to ensure that all stakeholders receive exceptional service and education.
Accreditation
In a significant milestone, TTPTS has achieved accreditation from the International Association for Quality Assurance in Pre-Tertiary and Higher Education (QAHE). This accreditation underscores the institution’s commitment to quality assurance in its training programs. It is crucial to note that while QAHE recognizes the quality of training provided, it does not endorse or approve the operation of any medical procedures, as it is not positioned to evaluate such practices.
Training Programs
TTPTS specializes in phlebotomy training, offering courses that equip students with essential skills and knowledge in the field. The Phlebotomy Technician program is accredited under One Awards U.K., through TTPTS’s international affiliate, Phlebotomy Training Services U.K. All certificates issued by the institution are recognized and meet industry standards.
TTPTS is also approved by EduQual, a regulated UK-based awarding body, further enhancing the credibility of its training programs. The institution is committed to delivering high-quality education through experienced lecturers who have extensive backgrounds in the health and medical sectors.
