American Association for Higher Education and Accreditation (AAHEA)

The International Association for Quality Assurance in Pre-Tertiary & Higher Education (QAHE) is pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the American Association for Higher Education and Accreditation (AAHEA) to enhance the quality of higher education globally. This partnership establishes a framework for mutual recognition and accreditation articulation, allowing both organizations to share best practices, streamline accreditation processes, and facilitate greater acceptance of accredited programs across borders. Key areas of collaboration include recognizing each other’s standards, developing clear pathways for dual accreditation, and sharing insights on current trends in higher education. Notably, AAHEA is a registered constituent of the Overseas Security Advisory Council (OSAC), managed by the Bureau of Diplomatic Security, U.S. Department of State, and encourages its members and affiliates to review the OSAC guidelines. Additionally, AAHEA partners with the Department of Veteran’s Affairs Center for Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships (CFBNP).
